Marriott Edgar’s monologue Albert and the Lion was so successful that more were demanded featuring the intrepid lad. As well as Albert’s Return, there was Albert’s Reunion (a touching tribute to the emotional bond between boy and beast).
Other monologues featuring the Ramsbottoms include The Runcorn Ferry and The Jubilee Sov’rin. These have now been recorded and will be published during 2026.
