Today, just before Christmas, my friend John Rogers and I had the pleasure of telling in India – online but live – for the Bakul Foundation. Together we presented Germany – the country we two Englishmen both live in.

Looking for a suitable tale, this tale found me (and that happens surprisingly often to us storytellers, especially those of us on the Storytell listserv). I had long known the story, but today was the first time I told it. So a few hours before telling it live to the children in India, I made this recording.
