The Three Crones

A bawdy Italian fairy tale – of and for imagination

If you want to download one, I can arrange that. Just send me a mail telling me which story you’d like, and your reason for wanting a download.

My German audiences love slightly bawdy tales – and here is a great one from Italy. My version is loosely based on that found in Italian Folktales, Italo Calvino (1956).

The recording was made in 2019 during my annual halbNeun Theater performance, Tales and the Harp. So at the end of the tale you can enjoy Peter Wucherpfennig playing “The House of Light”.
