Making a Tiger
an Indian tale of consequences

If you have a particular reason for wanting to watch the recording before it is publicly available, send a mail and we can discuss this.
My telling is based on The Tiger-Makers, in A.K. Ramanujan's Folktales From India.
Ramanjuan writes that he heard the tale in his childhood in Kannada. That version figured a tiger, although the Panchatantra has the same story with three foolish Brahmans and a lion.

Hoopoe
Living in Darmstadt, Germany, I am fortunate enough occasionally to see the hoopoes which nest in the area.
Read more about hoopoes on eBird.org.
And my thanks to fellow member of the NABU-Darmstadt group, Stefan Schütz, for generously providing this photograph of a hoopoe at a local nesting site.
More deep tales
The video gallery has become very extensive. So if you would enjoy more tales like this which explore the depths of the human psyche, here are a few suggestions.
