Remember this from Portugal in 1984?

Greetings, Maja and Andy.

This afternoon Karin was looking through our 41-year-old travel diary and stumbled across your names. We must confess that our own memories were more than a little vague, so we imagine you will be rather surprised to get this!

According to the diary (which must be right), you were on a bike tour. We met in a restaurant one evening, shared the same campsite and gave you a lift in our camper the next day. We assume that you, Maja, took this photo with us and our son Nicholas - then 18 months old.

We have been re-reading the diary because we are planning a six-week trip around France and northern Spain late spring, although the camper days have given way to an EV and hotels.
