Devil’s Three Golden Hairs
A story with a moral
Although I rarely tack one on to a story, the moral I found to add at the end of this tale is surely relevant for everyone setting out into the adult world!
I was so inspired by hearing Martin Ellrodt tell this Grimms’ tale to a group of schoolchildren at the Brixen Storytelling Festival that I soon started working on my own version for teenage and adult audiences.
The Norwegian wonder tale, The Giant without a Heart, has many of the same motifs.
This recording was made by Björn Gullander (many thanks for your camera work!) at the Ljungby Storytelling Festival, Sweden, in June 2018.
The video clips here are all amateur quality, shot in various theatres.
Their intention is just to show the range of my storytelling and give a flavour of a live performance.
