Stephen Badman kindly sent me his translation of this hilarious tale, collected in the 19th century by Evald Tang Kristensen.
Stephen thought it was one I’d enjoy telling: he was certainly right!
The recording was made at a school performance in March 2017 in Erlangen.
The video clips here are all amateur quality, shot in various theatres.
Their intention is just to show the range of my storytelling and give a flavour of a live performance.
